NEW YORK CITY - NY

During Christmas vacation I went to New York City with my mom and sister Kathleen.  We took the train from Dover to New York Penn Station.  We used a Metro Transit handicapped stroller which is easier to get around with than a full-size wheelchair, although if they know in advance,they have a folding bridge they can put up from the train to the platform.

Penn Station has elevators but you have to find them, and some go to some floors and some to others.  Sometimes my mom and sister just picked up my stroller and carried it up and down the stairs! New York was really crowded, but we walked from Penn Station to Rockefeller Center to see the tree.  We went to American Girl Doll store, but it was too crowded.  Then we ate pizza, walked around some more, then went home.

In the summer maybe we can go in again and go on the Circle Line.
