Final Project

Choose a Spanish-speaking country and research it. Write a report in Spanish in the form of a trip album, as if you had gone to the country you are researching. You will present the report on 4/28 or 5/5. The guidelines for the report are as follows:

Content:

One paragraph containing material from each chapter, as well as illustrations (from the internet, your own personal pictures, or other sources).

Chapter 5 – Geography and climate of the country, and weather when you were there.

Chapter 6 – Where did you eat (restaurants) or buy food (store, market), and what did you eat?

Chapter 7 – Transportation, including your actual trip as well as how you got around while you were there. Also your accommodations while you were there.

Chapter 8 – What holidays were celebrated? Did you see or learn anything interesting?

Language Usage:

Varied vocabulary from all four chapters

Correct use of the following structures:

Appearance:

Neat, colorful, interesting, with captioned pictures.

Presentation:

Will be graded on pronunciation and fluency.

Note: This project is in addition to, not instead of, the final exam. It should be a composite of the skills you have learned this semester, as well as an enrichment activity. The project is worth 20% of your final grade, and will be graded heavily on content and accuracy of language usage.
