THE MOVIES

Clearview Cinema 10 - Succasunna, NJ This is the movie theater I usually go to.  I usually go to two movies in the summer, and one in the winter.  Most of the theaters are downstairs, and have places to put a wheelchair.  Sometimes I park my wheelchair and sit in a regular seat, but my mom has to put piles of stuff like sweaters or jackets and her purse under my arms to prop me up.  I went here for my birthday last year.

In April, though, we went to see Ice Princess, and my mom forgot to ask if it was showing in an accessible theater.  When we got there we found out it was upstairs.  Luckily, my sister and my two cousins were with us, so first my mom carried the popcorn and stuff upstairs, and got seats.  Then she carried me upstairs and my cousins waited with me while my mom and my sister carried my wheelchair upstairs.  We got some lady to help carry it down after the movie was over.  I like to play in the arcade (with help.) In June I went to see Madagascar with my sister Kathleen, my sister Rebecca and her husband Jim.  Here are pictures of them (Click)

Cinema 12 - Parsippany, NJ In August I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with my two friends Callie and Chloe.  They are in my Brownie troop.  We went to Clearview 12 in Parsippany, NJ because it is near my school.  They picked me up at my school and we went there.  Every single theater in Cinema 12 is handicapped accessible.  They have an arcade too.  I have fun in the arcades.
