Tributes
"What is your life?  It is even a vapor that appears for a little time, then vanishes away."  James 4:14
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."  Matthew 6:33
Richard Gorgas served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Although he believed in submission to the government, his conscience would not allow him to participate personally in active combat.  He believed that all people were of one blood, and so he served the wounded of all nationalities in a MASH unit in Germany.  An honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army, he preferred to be known as a "good soldier of Jesus Christ."
"Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."
2 Timothy 2:3
